Z-Team
The Z-Team is a superhero team under the SDN Torrance branch's Phoenix Program, which seeks to reform supervillains into superheroes. Before the events of Dispatch, the team frequently went through dispatchers and was the lowest-ranked team in Torrance. This changed when Robert Robertson became their new dispatcher, who successfully turned the dysfunctional group of former villains into proper heroes.

Stat Distribution
Your "core" team will always consist of the following; except where otherwise noted, everyone starts with 12 stat points, implying a max of 21 before adding the extras you can earn via Dispatcher rank:
- Flambae, whose first and second best stats are Combat and Mobility;
- Golem, whose first and second best stats are Vigor and Combat;
- Invisigal, who is "missing" a stat point (she starts at 11 and caps at 20); her best stats are tied, Combat and Mobility;
- Malevola, whose best stats are tied, Combat and Charisma (she is worse than Prism at both);
- Prism, whose best stats are tied, Combat and Charisma (she is better than *Malevola at both);
- Punch Up, whose first and second best stats are Vigor and a tie between Combat and Charisma.
You will need to drop one of:
- Coupé, whose best stat is Combat - her second best stat is a tie between Mobility and Intellect;
- Sonar, whose best stats are Intellect and Charisma on odd-numbered missions each day (i.e. he starts each day this way) and, accordingly, Combat and Vigor on even-numbered missions.
You will need to add one of:
- Phenomaman, who simply has 23 stat points and never levels up to gain any; his best stats are a tie between Combat and Vigor, with Mobility as his tertiary.
- Waterboy, who is "missing" 4 stat points (so he ranges from 8 to 17 base); he has a three-way tie for "best" stat, all at 2: Vigor, Mobility, and Intellect.
Synergistic Pairs
Each possible synergistic team-up's total mandatory stat points, added together. Remember, Phenomaman doesn't add 9 points to his spread.
- Flambae and Prism (if the mission has 3+ Slots, Flambae's stats will count "extra" due to Prism's Illusion, and his block will usually have additional Combat and Mobility in it):
- Golem and Invisigal:
- Malevola and Sonar:
- Malevola and Waterboy:
- Malevola and Phenomaman:
- Punch Up and Coupé (usually, Coupé will add +1 Combat or Mobility when they team up - the exception is when Punch Up uses Squeeze In, because this will prevent En Pointe from triggering):
- Punch Up and Waterboy:
- Punch Up and Phenomaman means a minimum Vigor of 11, which is only more useful than 10 if Phenomaman is injured:
Intellect
Your team is most starved for Intellect, if you focus only on each member's best stats (by adding 5 to one and 4 to the other, presumably). People with starting Intellect 2 are Invisigal, Malevola, Prism, and Waterboy, if you want to pick one or more heroes to tertiary into Intellect; note that Phenomaman can't pick up stat points through normal leveling and starts at Intellect 1.
- Because Flambae and Prism are a synergistic pair, and his starting Intellect is 1, Prism is the superior choice between the two for Intellect;
- Because Golem and Invisigal are a synergistic pair, and his starting Intellect is 1, Invisigal is the superior choice between the two for Intellect, but Golem's ability to solo missions by splitting into additional slots means any stat point he gets does "more" work than on any other hero in your lineup;
- If you drop Coupé, Punch Up will get a new partner;
- If you take Phenomaman, you've paired two Int 1 heroes, Punch Up and Phenomaman, and have little choice but to pump Punch Up's Intellect to compensate - this also means the team-up has a baseline of Vigor of 11, and don't forget, Punch Up doesn't get debuffed by an injury;
- If you take Waterboy, Waterboy is the clear choice for Intellect between the two, although he will need as many "extra" stat points as you can willingly part with to improve his functionality, and everything you give him is a stat point Golem hasn't been given;
- you will have Malevola and Sonar, so Sonar will be in "charge" of Intellect, but you will need to be careful as he swaps between his two forms;
- If you drop Sonar, Malevola will get a new partner;
- If you take Phenomaman, Malevola will be in charge of Intellect between the two;
- If you take Waterboy, both of them will be starting at Intellect 2, so it is not a big deal which one "specializes" in Intellect; however, because this gives your team synergistic healers, you will have a particular disincentive to send these two on missions together, as both will often prefer to be sent out with whoemever may be injured.
