― Coupé

Coupé, real name Janelle, is a supporting character and possible antagonist in Dispatch and one of the two protagonists of "Pas de Deux" comic. She is a former assassin and reformed villain employed by the Phoenix Program of the Superhero Dispatch Network (SDN) and a member of the Z-Team.

Biography

Background

Coupé was an assassin for the mafia before going independent, and was a former prima ballerina.

Pas de Deux

During her time as an assassin, Coupé had a particularly perfect record, having had no failures whatsoever, resulting in a 68-0 success-to-failure ratio. However, she gained her first failure when she was hired to assassinate Punch Up who, in addition to being completely immune to knives, was watching Swan Lake, thus distracting Coupé. This was also the start of their relationship, as their initial fight resulted in them having coitus.

Joining the Phoenix Program

At some point, the pair signed up for the SDN's Phoenix Program and became part of the infamous Z-Team.

Prior to the events of Dispatch, the two have broken up, but have remained on amicable terms with each other.

Her contract file with the SDN, later revealed in Episode 3: Turnover, is heavily redacted, with the following passage left uncensored:

Contract Detail:

COUPÉ was identified by SDN as a promising candidate for the experimental Phoenix Program.

Upon agreeing to the conditions of the probation, COUPÉ was turned over to SDN staff and stationed at the Torrance branch in California HQ and officially instated into the Phoenix Program.

COUPÉ is an ex-mafia affiliate and former prima ballerina. She has a history of alleged extortion, kidnapping, and assassination. She is considered extremely dangerous and is released to SDN's care under the conditions of adherence to SDN guidelines and the rules and regulations set forth by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office regarding superhero activities.

Any changes to her (COUPÉ'S) conditional employment at SDN should be immediately communicated to the LA District Attorney's office, the Federal Bureau of Investigations, and Interpol. If COUPÉ'S employment is terminated, she shall be immediately placed under arrest and returned to the custody of ADX Florence Supermax in Colorado.

For reasons that are classified, COUPÉ is not allowed to operate under any circumstances in France, Russia, Bulgaria, and Ohio.

Pivot

Coupé and Punch Up accompany Flambae at Crypto Night as he attempts to intimidate Robert Robertson, dressed as his superhero alter ego, into leaving the bar. Robert blows him off with dry wit, much to Coupé's amusement. After Flambae is either doused with water or alcohol, Coupé and Punch Up follow him out of the bar.

Onboard

Coupé is revealed as a member of the hero team Robert is dispatching in a file shown to him by Blonde Blazer and Chase.

Coupé mocks Robert as he asks for radio silence after introducing himself, but is convinced to quiet down by Chase. As the Z-Team is taking bets on which day Robert will quit as dispatcher, Coupé bets on Tuesday. She and Punch Up later reflect on Flambae's encounter with Robert during his shift, with her stating that he "kicked Flambae's ass," though Flambae himself denies this.

Turnover

Before the shift started, Sonar and the rest of the Z-Team were informed by Blonde Blazer that the lowest performing member would be cut. This puts extra pressure on Sonar and Coupé, who are the lowest on the leaderboard along with Invisigal. To ensure her position on the leaderboard, Coupé tricked Sonar into getting cuffed on some weights in the office gym, forcing him to activate his distress beacon and ask Robert to send someone to free him while accusing Coupé of seducing him, which she denies. During the shift, the Z-Teamers start stabotaging each other, with Coupé being pushed into an alley with an angry dog. During a Landslide mission, Sonar and Coupé assign themselves competing each other on completing a mission, Sonar pushed Coupé in the pool of an aerobics class refusing to let her leave. After escaping the sabotage, Coupé returns to the base only for Malevola to injure her face with her sword much to Punch Up's anger, threatening Malevola that he believes in punching demons. Fed up with the team sabotaging each other, Robert recalls them back to base for an emergency meeting in the conference room.

Although the meeting starts heatedly, with Coupé threatening Prism after she took one of her knives, Robert gives a speech that convinces the rest of the team to work together, resulting in the second half of the shift running smoothly. Coupé and the rest of the Z-Team overhear Invisigal and Robert catch Lightningstruck and celebrate her success as she returns to the office. With Invisigal now ahead of both Coupé and Sonar, Robert is forced to pick between the two of them on who should be cut. If Sonar is cut, Coupé is seen watching him storm out of the office. If Coupé is cut, Robert takes her to a private room to break the news to her. Angered, Coupé threatens Robert by leaving one of her knives behind before storming off.

Restructure

If Sonar was cut, Punch Up expresses disbelief that he was cut, to which Coupé adds that he may have been a pervert, but was still one of them, and that she feels strange over feeling relief that she was not cut and struggles with the rest of the Z-Team to fulfill her duties now that they lack a member. During the shift, Malevola refuses to work with Coupé. Prism asked Coupé to borrow her mask for her evening date, reluctantly allowing Prism to borrow her mask, and telling her to return it to her the next day. In the middle of the shift, the whole Z-Team complains about cutting Sonar making the shift harder, Coupé stated that cutting Sonar made the team vulnerable, with Invisigal supporting her statement.

The day after, Sonar is replaced with either Phenomaman or Waterboy, who the team find difficult to work with due to their depression and hazardous power, respectively.

If Coupé was cut, the Z-Team receives intel that her former assassin organization arrived in Torrance with the purpose of killing her, forcing Punch Up to leave midshift to check up on her. During the middle of the shift, Sonar achknowledged that the shift would have been a breeze if Robert did not fire Coupé.

Team Building

If Coupé is not cut, she complains during the first half of the shift that her tablet died, keeping her from reading her romance novel. During the blackout in the second half, she once again complains about not being able to finish her novel and craves revenge against the Red Ring for causing it. The Z-Team is eventually able to fix the issues around the city and decides to go to The Sardine for drinks, inviting Robert to come with.

A drunken Coupé is throwing darts as Robert is distributing drinks among the team. As she takes her drink, she says that he does not need to bribe her anymore, as she is in his debt for keeping her on the team, and offers to kill anyone he wants. During the bar fight between the Z-Team and Red Ring members, Coupé is seen vomiting in the toilet and saves Robert from the Dragon Goon if he is too slow to block his fire breath, before puking on Robert and joining the rest of the team in the bar fight (and puking again).

Victorious, the team goes to FuGo for Mexican food, where the topic of Robert's former superhero identity comes up. Regardless of if Robert reveals his former identity or not, the rest of the team exchanges their real names, with Coupé revealing hers is Janelle, before they spend the rest of the night chatting with each other.

Moving Parts

If Robert revealed his identity as Mecha Man to the Z-Team, Coupé, and the rest of the team attend the latest Proto Pulse test to confirm his identity as part of the bet they have. As the Proto Pulse starts to malfunction, Coupé helplessly watches as the Mecha Man suit explodes with Robert inside. Though Robert thankfully survives and lands in the infirmary, relieving Coupé that he is not dead. If Robert kept his identity a secret, Coupé and the team are ignorant of the incident.

Regardless, the team buys Robert an expensive bottle of vodka as a 'get-better' gift. During the middle of the shift, Malevola informs about Vanderstenk's divorce with his wife, with Coupé glad that his wife broke up with him.

After the shift, Invisigal invited the team to have a housewarming party at the dispatcher's apartment to find a way to track the Astral Pulse down, as it has been recently discovered to be intact. With Robert indisposed, Blonde Blazer took over his post for the day and proves herself to be a rather rusty dispatcher. Fortunately, Robert recovers swiftly and reassumes his dispatching duties. At the end of the shift, the team makes plans to travel to Robert's apartment.

Coupé arrives at the party with Punch Up and is later seen dancing with Malevola. She and the rest of the team would bear witness to Invisigal and Chase's argument over whether to storm the warehouse where the Astral Pulse is being kept or not, which swiftly turns personal as Chase lets it slip that Robert used to be Mecha Man. The argument ends with Invisigal punching Chase and storming off, after which the Z-Team is told by Blazer to leave and keep quiet over what happened.

Retrospective

Following the housewarming party, Invisigal disobeyed Blond Blazer's orders and assaulted the warehouse on her own. Although she was successful in retrieving the Astral Pulse with Robert’s reluctant aid, she was ambushed by Shroud soon after, who seemingly left with the pulse. This forced Chase to use his superhuman speed to rescue her, and he fell into a coma afterward because of his accelerated aging. As punishment, Invisigal was suspended from the Z-Team until further investigation.

This hit the Z-Team (including Coupé if she was not cut) hard, who decide to hold a meeting regarding Invisigal's membership. Following the shift, the Z-Team holds its meeting, with Golem (and Flambae if Robert revealed his identity) being the only dissenting vote(s) against Invisigal’s expulsion. During the meeting, a heated Punch Up gets up close to Golem, who kicks him out of the boardroom door in response, earning Robert’s attention. Entering the room, Robert demands an explanation. The team obliges and demands Invisigal be cut from the Phoenix Program. If Robert defends Invisigal, Coupé suffers a morale decrease. Regardless of Robert’s verdict, the door swings open and shut, revealing Invisigal had been listening in on the meeting, and Robert leaves to pursue her.

If Coupé was cut, she reveals herself to have become a member of the Red Ring while Robert is drinking his worries away, knocking him out and torturing him at Shroud’s orders for information on the Astral Pulse’s location. Shroud soon discovers that Robert is ignorant of the Pulse’s location and reveals to him that Invisigal had taken it for herself, leaving him none the wiser. Before Shroud can execute Robert, Blonde Blazer arrives at the bar to rescue the dispatcher, threatening that the bar will soon be swarmed with the Red Ring’s enemies. Although Coupé calls her bluff, Shroud silences her and orders the gang to leave.

Synergy

If Sonar was cut from the team, Coupé is captured by the Red Ring and put in a cage that was slowly being lowered into the ocean as they launched their assault on Los Angeles County, requiring the aid of a fellow Z-Teamer to free her. Once freed, Coupé joins the team in defending the county against the Red Ring and Sonar, who joined the Red Ring following his expulsion from the team. Coupé and the Z-Team later aid Robert in defending the SDN Torrance branch office from the Red Ring goons and Shroud’s mech suit.

Through their combined efforts, the Z-Team, Blonde Blazer, and a revived Chase manage to beat the Red Ring and Coupé. Unfortunately, their victory is short-lived as Shroud takes Beef hostage and forces Robert to hand over the Astral Pulse. Coupé and the rest of the team are forced to watch as the recovered Red Ring goons hold them back while Robert deals with Shroud. Regardless of the outcome, Shroud is neutralized and the Z-Team once again subdue the goons. Victorious, Coupé celebrates with her fellow Z-Teamers.

If Coupé were cut from the team, he leads a group of Red Ring goons in the siege, mocking the efforts of his former allies over and demanding to face Sonar and Blonde Blazer over the comms. If Coupé is defeated by the Z-Team, she and her goons are forced to retreat. Otherwise, they lay waste to the county. Regardless, she aids the Red Ring in the assault on the Torrance office. Despite her new augments, he proves no match for the combined power of Blonde Blazer and the newly upgraded Mecha Man suit. Following Shroud’s defeat, Coupé is arrested. If the Z-Team defeated her during the siege, Robert can forgive Coupé and allow her to rejoin the team, which the assassin appears thankful for as she celebrates with the team. Otherwise, she is taken to prison with the rest of the Red Ring.

Personality

Described as cold and merciless, Coupé is a mysterious and efficient assassin.

She takes pride in her abilities, cursing herself and asking what ‘all of [her] training was for’ when failing a mission, and seeing a retrieval of a child’s balloon as beneath her, saying that the decision is 'not the best application of [her] abilities.' Similarly, she expects her missions to be difficult, expressing confusion when remarking it was ‘easier than [she] thought it’d be,’ and showing interest that she will 'finally be dealing with criminals with class’ if sent to handle a museum robbery. If dispatched on a coffee run in Episode 8: Synergy, she is audibly angered and calls the errand 'an incredible waste of [her] time.'

Coupé expresses great affinity for knives, frequently referring to their care and wellbeing when dispatched, on one occasion thanking Robert for giving them a chance for fresh air. Similarly, she's audibly livid when contacting Blonde Blazer about the issue of her confiscated office knives, saying she registered them as emotional support knives. She also admits to recently taking up sewing, enjoying the various fabrics and stabbing motions accompanying the hobby. When accompanied by a hero, she articulates the differences between ‘a cut, a dice, and a mince,’ asking them to hold out their hand for her to demonstrate.

While Coupé presents herself as someone willing to take job offers solely for financial gain, her loyalty is rooted not only in money, with her easily admitting to "kill and protect as the [SDN] see fit", she displays a deep loyalty to her friends. If downed in Episode 8: Synergy, she confides to Robert that she never felt needed before and was willing to rise back to help the team, making a full recovery. If Robert fired Sonar, she voices her complaint that cutting Sonar left the team vulnerable—yet she also finds herself strangely relieved to remain in the program; this later follows up in a later event in Episode 5: Team Building, where she told Robert that she was in his debt and would kill on his command if requested. Similarly, she expresses her betrayal and bitterness if she's cut from the Z-Team, having believed she had friends, but that her being fired as a hero made her realise that she never had any, resorting to her regressing back to being a villain to do 'what's right for [her.]'

Despite being described as cold and merciless, Coupé's tone of speech reveals her current emotion. When dispatched to rescue Waterboy, her hasty tone implies she was concerned with Waterboy's safety. If she stayed in the Z-Team, she expresses sorrow for Sonar's absence such as stating that "he may be a pervert, but he was our pervert", or when Malevola's question about "negotiating" reminded her of Sonar. Coupé cannot maintain her persona when she is intoxicated with drugs, expressing gratitude to Robert for giving her a chance to stay in the Z-Team.

Coupé is implied to have a background in ballet, naming herself after a French ballet term meaning 'to cut,' and her starting ability following in a similar fashion. On her file in Episode 3: Turnover, she is confirmed to have been a prima ballerina.

She exhibits some interest in poetic wordplay, calling herself ‘graceful, but deadly,’ and ‘swift as the night, sharp as my knife,’ when dispatched. She displays dry humour, saying she can ‘take a stab at’ a mission, and clarifies she was trying to make a joke. During the morning shift in Episode 3: Turnover, she awkwardly tries to compliment Robert to avoid getting cut, haltingly saying that '[his] face is less stabbable today.'

Coupé hates any form of water body. When Sonar sabotaged her by pushing her into a pool, she admitted to Robert that she hates water and old people. If she was not cut from the Z-Team, Coupé was held hostage by the ocean where Punch Up states that she hates the ocean; Coupé admits to hating the ocean if the dispatched heroes failed her rescue mission. If Coupé was dispatched with Waterboy in his first mission, she slips on a puddle he made, expressing embarrassment. Despite this, she's decent at swimming, saying that her butterfly stroke is better than her backstroke.

She has a severe alcohol addiction. She's shown to be heavily intoxicated at the Sardine, slurring her words and unable to stand upright without swaying. During the bar fight, she's seen puking into a toilet, possibly throwing up on Robert, and puking on the floor after taking another drink from her beer while fighting.

Appearance

Coupé is a tall, dark-skinned woman with short, straight black hair slicked back into a neat bob. She has yellow eyes and mascara running down her cheeks from her eyes, and wears dark lipstick.

As a Phoenix, she wears a black, slim catsuit with a V neck collar, slim, silver pauldrons on her upper biceps, and metallic accents framing her body: with similarly designed wings at her back. She wears a metallic domino mask that reaches the sides of her head, ending with four-pointed spikes.

Powers

Default

  • Icon Ability ReallyChil.svg En Pointe: In 2+ slots calls, if placed in the first slot, Coupé gains +1 Combat. If placed in the second slot, she gains +1 Mobility.

Flight School

  • Icon Ability FlyLicense.svg En L'air: Coupé flies to call locations, greatly reducing travel time.

Hero Training

  • Icon Ability WingsCoccoon.svg Pirouette: If Coupé is sent on a call that fails, she will reattempt it.
  • Icon Ability Doppleganger.svg À la Seconde: If placed in the first slot, Coupé now gains +3 Combat, if placed in the second slot, she now gains +3 Mobility.

Abilities

  • Superhuman accuracy: Coupé is highly accurate with her throwing knives and other projectiles. If Coupé isn't cut, she is seen throwing darts at The Sardine, managing to hit the bullseye four times in a row while intoxicated, with the fourth one hitting its mark when she was not looking at it.
  • Skilled assassin: Coupé is a highly skilled assassin, allowing her to sneak past her enemies unseen and remain hidden from sight. According to Coupé herself, she has evaded capture from seven different countries and had a flawless record of 68 successful missions, until she met Punch Up.
  • Hand-to-hand combat: Coupé has been shown to be a skilled close-quarters combatant, using her knives and powerful kicks to subdue her foes. She is able to knock out the Dragon Goon at the Sardine with one kick, rendering him unconscious: a physical feat comparable to Sonar in his Mega Bat form knocking him out.

Equipment

  • Umbrakinetic Wings: The source of Coupé's power seems to come from the wings attached to the back of her suit, which allow her to make use of umbrakinesis, or shadow manipulation, which she can use to shroud herself in darkness, disorient foes, and fly.
    • Umbrakinetic Knives: Coupé possesses multiple feather-shaped blades atop her wings, which she wields as daggers with deadly skill and precision. These blades are infused with shadows, can be summoned from them, and emits a pitch-black mist while in motion or upon striking a target. One, when thrown, is capable of smashing a giant glass window. They are capable of killing foes in one strike.
  • Red Ring implants: If Coupé is cut from the Z-Team, she joins the Red Ring and receives implants to enhance her power. These implants, located in her wings, allow her to telekinetically control her knives and create energy fields capable of locking the Mecha Man suit in place.

Relationships

Robert Robertson

Dispatcher and hero. Coupé alternates between being disrespectful and professional towards him, calling him ‘emo’ when he repeats the request to clear the channel, and expressing her dissatisfaction over him using her skills to retrieve a child’s balloon. When Robert asks what she would be more suited for, she responds 'off the books assassination,' which Robert distrustfully responds that '[he] will keep it in mind.'

Coupe retains a mostly respectful attitude on-call otherwise, being pleased with Robert’s confidence in her when dispatched.

It’s implied she’s amused by his name, occasionally saying his full name on-call.

If Robert fired Coupé, she threatens him, embedding one of her knives on the meeting room table and shattering the window before flying out. Harbouring a grudge towards him, she eventually learns that he is Mecha Man from Shroud. Fighting Robert as Mecha Man, she rants to Robert how hurt she is to be kicked from the program. If Robert forgives Coupé, he covers up for Coupé stating that she is part of the Z-Team, who expresses gratitude towards Robert with a smile.

If Robert kept Coupé, she expresses gratitude towards him. She confesses to Robert how she never felt needed before when she was downed in Synergy. In Episode 5: Team Building, when Robert offers her a refill for alcohol, she expresses that she feels like she is in his debt, willing to offer to kill somebody if needed. If Robert is too slow to defend himself in the bathroom, Coupé saves him by kicking the goon. While she respects Robert, she expressed complaints about cutting Sonar for far less collectively with the Z-Team; she stated cutting Sonar made the team vulnerable during the first shift in Restructure, and telling Robert that the Z-Team voted on cutting Invisigal while Malevola speaks for the team that he cut a member for far less in Episode 7: Retrospective.

Blonde Blazer

Boss and employee. On the official SDN phone number, Coupé leaves a message on Blonde Blazer's voicemail regarding the issue of her confiscated office knives. While keeping her language respectful and professional, saying that while she understands the SDN's strict weapons policy, she claims that she registered them as emotional support knives, and is audibly angered by the development. She then asks for her to call her back at her earliest convenience before ending the voice message.

If cut, she's disrespectful and aggressive towards Blazer, sarcastically calling her 'mom' when she arrives to save Robert from the Red Ring, and calling her a 'bitch' during the fight against Shroud, saying she's in no position to tell her 'who and who not to murder anymore,' implying that Blazer had occasionally allowed Coupé to assassinate people under her orders.

Flambae

Co-heroes. Coupé doesn't have a particularly high opinion of Flambae, insinuating he's a 'baby' for panicking over catching on fire despite not experiencing any pain, if Robert splashes him with alcohol. Despite this, she has some level of care for him, checking on his wellbeing if he smashed his own tooth, saying he needs to get to a hospital before escorting him out with Punch Up.

By contrast, Flambae isn't particularly offended by her laughing at Robert's insults of him, though is somewhat annoyed at her reaction.

On shift, if paired together, Coupé asks Flambae what fire tastes like. He compares it to pop rocks and is taken aback when she admits she hasn't tried them, saying her life is sad. He respects her abilities: if dispatched to rescue her in Episode 8: Synergy, Flambae says that 'if [she's] dead, we're definitely fucked.'

Golem

Co-heroes.

In Episode 8: Synergy, Golem expresses confusion on her hero name, asking the team if her name is spelled as 'C-O-O-P' or if it was something else, saying he can never remember: which is further complicated with him being currently high on gummies.

Malevola

Co-heroes. Malevola attacks Coupé in Episode 3: Turnover to sabotage her, excusing the event as her 'running into [her] sword.'

In Episode 8: Synergy, if Malevola is sent to rescue her, she calls them both 'baddies.'

Phenomaman

Co-heroes.

If sent to rescue her in Episode 8: Synergy, Phenomaman says she deserves to be rescued, even if she terrifies small children. If sent to rescue him, she simply comments on the irony of the situation.

Prism

Co-heroes. Prism and Coupé are on friendly terms with each other. Coupé lets Prism borrow a smutty romantasy novel from her. When asked, Prism admits she's a slow reader, slowly losing interest in it due to not yet reading the 'fairy sex' she was promised; annoyed, Coupé says that 'it has to build.' She also lets Prism borrow her mask for a date, out of respect for Prism calling her a bitch. However, she did not tolerate Prism taking her knives without asking, threatening to kill her if she did it again.

In Episode 5: Team Building, after the bar fight, Coupé uses her own blood as sauce for her taco, which shocks and disgusts Prism.

If Prism is dispatched to save Coupé, she lightheartedly calls her a 'spooky ass bitch.'

Punch Up

Friends, co-heroes, former lovers. Coupé calls him a gentleman and lightheartedly instructs him not to fall behind if dispatched together. She’s occasionally playful with him, responding to his quips with her own, and asking if he got shorter when asked if she ‘got scarier.' She greets him as 'Knuckles,' with him responding 'Knives' in kind.

The two are comfortable teasing each other for their failures. She shows some dismay over him finding out about her failing a mission, noting that he would ‘tease [her] for weeks’ about it; similarly, Punch Up says he’d ’never live it down’ if she knew about one of his mishaps.

According to the comics, Punch Up was the first target Coupé failed to assassinate, and during their brief introduction and fight with each other the first time they met, they quickly became enamored with each other and had intercourse. Sometime before the events of Dispatch, the two have broken up, but remain on friendly terms with each other.

During Episode 3: Turnover, Punch Up casually threatens to hurt Malevola for attacking Coupé, saying he doesn't hit women, but would make an exception for demons.

If Coupé is cut in Episode 4: Restructure, Punch Up is furious over Robert's decision, and breaks into his computer to ambush his screen with pornographic pop-ups when he comes into work the next day, refusing to be dispatched on a call to deal with her, and leaves in the middle of the morning shift to check on her wellbeing.

If Coupé is cut, Punch Up is horrified to learn she had joined the Red Ring in Episode 8: Synergy. After successfully weakening her during the shift, he apologetically says it isn't personal, and calls her 'love.'

Sonar

Co-heroes. Coupé is annoyed by Sonar's attraction towards her, telling him to stop asking her out. Undeterred, he finds her threatening nature hot.

After Blonde Blazer informed the Z-Team that the member at the bottom of the leaderboard, she was rivals with Sonar. She sabotaged Sonar by tricking and handcuffing him into a squat rack to which Sonar assumed that she seduced him. When they both dispatched themselves to stop a landslide, Sonar pushed Coupé into the pool for revenge for "promising boobs" which she stated that nobody promised him anything. On the next shift, Sonar and Coupé discussed about convincing Robert and Blonde Blazer to ignore leaderboard rankings to not get cut.

If Coupé was cut, she holds a grudge towards Robert for choosing Sonar to stay in the program, despite Sonar pooping guano in the parking lot. Similarly, if Sonar is cut, he holds a grudge towards Robert for keeping Coupé despite her stealing toilet paper from the office.

If she remains in the team, she witnessed Robert firing Sonar in the meeting room. However, she expressed that she missed him, stating that he was the team's pervert. In the middle of the shift, she stated that cutting Sonar made the team vulnerable. In the meeting room, it is implied that she agrees with Malevola that Robert cut Sonar for far less.

Waterboy

Co-heroes. If recruited in Episode 4: Restructure, Coupé is the only Phoenix to blame herself for slipping on one of his puddles, instead of taking her ire out on him.

If sent to rescue him in Episode 8: Synergy, Coupé hurriedly assures Robert that 'Waterboy is as good as back.' If Waterboy is sent to rescue her, he's audibly nervous, asking aloud that '[Coupé's] not going to hurt [him]... right?' and asking the team if she knows that they're coming to rescue her.

Trivia

  • In Pas de Deux, she had longer hair and wore a tutu.[1]
  • On Coupé's potential flight license, her date of birth is registered as 02/09/19XX.
  • Coupé's Icon Ability WingsCoccoon.svg Pirouette shares the same effect as Sonar's Icon Ability Deduction.svg Talk Shit, requiring Sonar to be in his hybrid form.
